the common name. Flower color, approximate blooming time,
and plant height (under favorable garden conditions) are shown
in bold face follwing each plant description. Tolerance to
specific environmental conditions such as drought and flood
are also noted. Zone listings indicate where the plants naturally
occur. Plants may be hardy farther north or south. Please
use your discretion. Graphic symbols are used for quick reference
