Ferns are an essential element in the shade or woodland garden, offering ariety in form and texture from spring through fall. Most species prefer a well-drained, loamy soil and partial to full shade. The floowing species of hardy native ferns are shipped bare-root or in 4-6" pots. Larger potted ferns are usually available at the nursery.
