This beautiful plant is the largest-flowered lady’s-slipper and one of the most beautiful plants found anywhere. Still very exacting of conditions, it is also one of the "easiest" slippers to grow. In the south it requires a shady site, but prefers increasingly open conditions northward. Requires rich woodland soil. Not a plants for the novice gardener. Shipped bare root straight from tissue culture.
