This grows in water near back edge of my small natural clay pond. Planted some years ago and while I don't think it is a spectacular plant it has done well and is very reliable. Not aggressive in my pond. The miniature dragonflies like to perch on it. The dragonfly larvae use it when they are ready to leave the pond, although it is hard to see all that activity now since the pond has matured so much...
