Wild Columbinenative to KYcut / dried flowersfull sunpart shade/part sunfull shadehummingbirds
Nodding red flowers (yellow inside) with backward spurs dangle on the ends of thin wiry stems. Delicate leaves make nice groundcover spring to frost. Self-sows and naturalizes easily. Removing seed heads will promote blooming throughout the sunmer into fall. Early nectar source for hummingbirds. Well-drained loam.
